Take Me to the River Music & Art Festival - Hastings-on-Hudson
12MilesNorth hosts this music and art fest with hip-hop, bluegrass, jazz, world, folk, Americana, and indie-rock music, sinfully delicious food, workshops and lots of kid-friendly activities including a marble run, giant acorn sling shot, shaving cream finger painting and more.$18 in advance; $25 at the gate; Kids 10-17 $5; 9 and under FREE
Yonkers Riverfest - Yonkers
This annual celebration boasts fun for the entire family with live music played by top area performance groups, arts and crafts displays, international food, classic cars, children's petting zoo, face painting, mini golf, street jugglers and more. FREE

White Plains International Food & Jazz Festival - White Plains
Celebrate jazz with a day of live music, great food from local restaurants and lots of family activities. FREE
Harvest Party - Scarsdale
Greenburgh Nature Center is hosting a Harvest Party. Sample tasty treats from their organic garden and beehives. Learn about the social lives of bees and see honey extracted by resident beekeeper. $4 for members, $8 for nonmembers.
New York Metro Reptile Expo - White Plains
Westchester County Center will be crawling with thousands of live reptiles and amphibians at the New York Metro Reptile Expo. Bring home a new pet or just enjoy observing them in action. Books, cages and other supplies will also be available. $10 adults, $5 for kids 7-12, Free under 7.
Annual Big Band Concert and Sunset Picnic - Garrison
Celebrate the last days of summer on Boscobel’s great lawn overlooking the Hudson River. Bring a picnic and listen to to the sounds of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and more. All ages welcome. $16; Children 10 and under FREE.
